Kimberly Onile, LDEM is a NARM Certified Preceptor for PEP apprentices
Approved to work with Utah College of Midwives and Mercy In Action students
Firm believer in equity and respect in the preceptor apprentice relationship
"Kim is an amazing preceptor. She does a great job including students in client interactions and giving students the space and opportunities to grow and develop their own midwifery style. She takes the time to discuss both prenatal and birth cases ahead of time, giving the student opportunity to think critically and "be the midwife" in a safe environment. She facilitates debriefing after births, covering outcomes, what we learned, what went well, and where we can do better next time. On top of all of this, Kim respects the need for work life balance for her students and does what she can to get the student the experiences she needs. I have learned so much from Kim and would recommend her to any student!" -Jessica, Primary Under Supervision
