Sweet Water is any nourishing elixir that has been filtered by the natural processes of the Earth, the human body as a fractal representation of the Earth. Ocean water full of salt and debris, evaporates into the sky, is transformed and purified before falling as crystalline snow on the mountain top. The seasonal tides, melting snow caps, trickling streams, all become creeks and flowing rivers. Reservoirs capture some of this pure elixir and store it for our sustenance. Lakes, aquifers, and springs quench our thirst, soothe our bodies, and nourish us for another day of living.
Our bodies, our fleshly vessels consume water from these sweet water springs, from the juice filled fruits grown from sweet spring irrigation, and purify it as did the sky above the mountains before the rain. We cleanse the salty waters, purify it for the nourishment of our tissues. The sweetest waters of the womb, of the breast, reserved for the most precious among us. New life swimming in these sweet waters, until the tide washes them into our hands. From the waves of the womb, to be cradled at the breast, nourished once again by Earth's sweet nectar.
Our earthly bodies mirror the great mother Earth, containing salt bodies, with our own network of purification, the transmutation of poison to elixir, all for the nourishment of the most precious among us. Ourselves, those we love, and those we serve.
Sweet water flows around us, and within us. The process of purifying, and nourishing, exemplified by Mother Earth who shares her sweet water abundance with all life, like our mothers who shared their wombs with us, so we share our Sweet Water with you. Our community, our programs, our products all embody this essence of the Sweet Waters of the Earth.

Sweet Water Family Wellness is where family is made, grown, and nurtured. By family we mean chosen family. Here we honor the reality that many of us have strained relationships with our birth families for any number of reasons including being queer, trans, leaving a spiritual community, or having moved away from our hometowns. This shared experience helped inspire us to create Sweet Water, an oasis for us all to build and enjoy new supportive relationships. Find us learning new crafty skills, playing fun games. enjoying kid friendly movie matinees, and 21+ events as well. Check our Calendar for events. We look forward to seeing you around!
Upcoming Events
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our 1st online Art Auction. Which will be open for bidding from September 8- October 18. Our goal is to raise the funds to finish renovating Sweet Water Family Wellness Center by adding the remaining lighting needed as well as purchase supplies. We have been able to complete a lot over this past month but still need supplies and equipment for our birth and soul midwife practice, as well as tables and chairs for our event space/classroom.
Our desire is to host our first donation-based chair yoga class with Cheryle Lloyd on September 21st, but currently we do not have the funds to purchase the proper chairs needed.
To achieve our goal of fully opening the center, our goal is to raise $5500 with the auction. Starting bids range from $25-$111 with Art mediums ranging from Oil painting, Oil pastel, Acrylic, Charcoal, Graphite, and Watercolor.
You can participate by donating to our GoFundMe and email us at welcome@sweetwaterslc.com what art piece you are bidding on after donating.

"Throughout my life, I've learned that while many factors are beyond our control, we always have the power to choose our behavior. My professional passion centers on the biopsychosocial model and the influence of work-life balance on overall well-being. I believe it's never too late to make positive changes, as research shows our behavior is the most powerful factor in determining our health. My personal fitness philosophy is built on the vital connection between flexibility, muscle strength, and overall well-being. After experiencing a serious injury, I saw firsthand how maintaining mobility through exercise can improve the quality of daily life and aid in recovery. Beyond the physical benefits, I believe exercise is crucial for emotional health, helping to alleviate stress and promote relaxation. My approach to chair yoga blends disciplines like Pilates, yoga, and endurance training, all adapted for a seated application that builds strength and endurance using one's own body."
Sawubona God-desses,
Self Love is how we show up for ourselves and there are times where it is hard to find that extra boost to help us get through those hard days. Whether you are facing burnout, stress, pressures of your many hats or finding yourself.
This event will help you to refill your cup and water your soul garden.
"Each and every day we are changing and shaping our reality. When life presents us with transitions it doesn't always come with a gentle breeze. There are times where we have been forced to face our realities and the writing on the wall couldn't be any clearer, but our fears of the unknown keep us stagnant. Self-acceptance isn't just for body image. Self-acceptance is a whole body inside and out journey. When you are faced with life-altering situations it is up to you to decide on how you will proceed if you choose to."
